A business is not just about having a high quality product and a market to which you sell the product. Difference between Traditional Marketing & Digital Marketing
- Cost: Traditional marketing is expensive as this involves Television advertisements, advertisements in newspapers etc which are expensive. Digital Marketing on the other hand uses the power of the Internet and hence is cost effective.
- Audience targeting: Traditional marketing does now allow custom targeting whereas with digital marketing you can target audience as per location, demographics, interest etc which ensures that you are only reaching the relevant audience.
- Results: With traditional marketing it is very difficult to measure the results. Whereas with digital marketing you can monitor the results in real time.You can monitor the reach of the ad, leads generated, conversions etc almost instantly.
- Communication: Traditional marketing advertisements require a lot of planning and can only be executed based on the available slots with the advertiser. However in digital marketing you can create and publish your ad in no time and the ad can be shown to the relevant audience almost instantly.
- Changing your campaigns: Traditional marketing is dependent on promotional methods that once executed cannot be updated.
